Hi, I'm using Facebook Connect and it's working well! After install FB Connect and made the application on FB Apps you can put a Comment Box everywhere! This is the code: Code:<script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php" type="text/javascript"></script> <div><fb:comments></fb:comments></div> <script type="text/javascript">FB.init("<YOUR_API>", "<YOUR_URL>/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/UKNuke.FacebookConnect/Connect/xd_receiver.htm"); </script> You may only replace <YOUR_API> and <YOUR_URL> This is an example: CLICK HERE

This is incredible and wonderful. Is this done using the Facebook Connect module from UKNuke?
Ok, you are UKNuke? Not a problem. I am a little new.
Can you tell me the difference between the Facebook Connect module and RPX Connect module? Are they the same but RPX has more features? Would this code snippet work with RPX Connect?

Welcome treeluvburdpu
I think the snippet wouldn't work as-is with the RPX module - as the RPX module doesn't provide that xdreceiver file.

Yes it doesn't. I get an error saying that I can't just use my URL, http://www.thefullertonian.com but that it must have the prefix http://the-fullertonian.rpxnow.com. I tried just replacing my URL with that URL and that did not do the trick either. Any word on RPX snippets? Which brings up an interesting topic: If a user may log in under any of four providers, how do you know what to present in the comment snippet?

I'm sorry for my late reply. I made a FB application following Cirrous FB Connect guide and than I've used that code on first post. It's not very difficult. Anyone made the same??

Thanks bennypg - very useful! For anyone else wanting a quick tutorial, this page and video are useful - http://developers.facebook.com/news.php?blog=1&story=198I'm currently working out how to use these on some of my sites - including whether I need to use the comments.get API to update user profiles. It all gets a bit confusing sometimes with DNN users and Facebook users coexisting!
